AWS Redshift ETL

Qlik Compose DWH automation software makes AWS Redshift data warehouse creation and AWS Redshift ETL faster and easier so you can fully capitalize on the agility benefits of cloud data warehousing. Qlik Compose is conveniently available through the Amazon Marketplace, and can be launched through an Amazon Machine Instance (AMI) in the Amazon EC2 cloud.

With Qlik Compose you can:

• Create or import your data warehouse model using an intuitive design interface

• Leverage design patterns that align with Vault, Inmon, or Kimball data warehousing approaches

• Configure rules for data profiling and quality.

• Automatically generate Amazon Redshift ETL code, greatly reducing the need for manual cloud ETL scripting

• Easily update your warehouse model in response to changing business needs, with Compose automatically performing the corresponding Amazon Redshift ETL updates.

Working seamlessly with Qlik Compose, Qlik Replicate moves data from your source systems into the landing area of your AWS Redshift data warehouse, where it can then be subjected to your AWS Redshift ETL processes. Qlik Compose integrates with Qlik Replicate (known on the AWS marketplace as Qlik CloudBeam) which you can use for ingesting data into Redshift from elsewhere in the AWS cloud – such as AWS SQL Server replication from either AWS RDS or AWS EC2. For AWS cloud data integration between your RDS or EC2 source database systems and your Redshift platform, Qlik Cloudbeam/Replicate supports high-performance bulk loading as well as real-time change data capture.

For migrating on-premises data to the Redshift cloud, you can download and run a local instance of Qlik Replicate. Through a graphical interface you can quickly and easily configure and execute any source-to-warehouse data flow—with no need for manual coding.

Qlik Compose and Qlik Replicate support other major on-premises and cloud data warehouse platforms, including Teradata, Exadata, Sybase IQ, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
