Last month at our Qlik Connect conference, I outlined a vision for combining the best of Qlik Data Integration, Talend, and Stitch to deliver market-leading data integration and quality solutions for your AI, analytics, and operational initiatives. The reception was overwhelmingly positive, and the live demonstrations generated huge excitement.

Therefore, I am happy to share the news that Qlik Talend Cloud is now generally available (GA)! This significant achievement is a testament to the extraordinary efforts of our cross-functional teams, customers, and partners, and I’d like to thank everyone involved. It’s a significant milestone.

Qlik Talend Cloud is built on Qlik’s cloud infrastructure platform with the focus on managing the data integrity of your AI, analytics, and business operational projects. It offers a unified package of data integration and quality capabilities that enable data engineers and scientists deploy AI-augmented data pipelines that deliver trusted data wherever it’s needed. With the introduction of Qlik Talend Cloud, we are bringing a new wave of innovation to the market and let me just highlight the key areas:

Modern Data Engineering to Deliver AI-ready Data

Our unique no-code/pro-code approach to defining data pipelines and transformation logic took a quantum leap forward in this release. Thanks to some embedded AI technology, the connector factory got a significant upgrade, and we now support over 400 SaaS data sources. We also introduced a simplified data loading feature, AI-enabled data transformation features, and four new editions from starter to enterprise. You can hear our Director of Product Management, Tim Garrod, explain the highlights from the keynote demonstration below:

Data Products and Marketplace

I also talked about Data products which are highly curated, trusted, and reusable data sets that safely bridge the gap between data producers and consumers. The collection of datasets, business-approved metadata, and domain logic form the backbone of powerful data apps like recommendation engines, predictive machine learning, business analytics, and generative AI. Again Qlik Talend Cloud is taking a leading position to make high-quality data easier and safely consumed across organizations. Once again you can hear Tim Garrod, explain the benefits of Data Products:

Pioneering Trust Score for AI

Finally, in the era of AI, the need for accurate, high-quality, real-time data has never been greater, and we raised the bar with our pioneering Qlik Talend Trust Score for AI. The Trust Score for AI is a framework for tracking six data quality attributes that reflect the overall AI-readiness of datasets used by AI projects. This approach is unique to Qlik and I think it’s something that every AI initiative should incorporate. Conclusion

I couldn’t be more excited about the great capabilities we’ve released today in the new Qlik Talend Cloud that aims to help you improve your data integrity for all your organization’s key initiatives, especially AI projects. After all, the bottom line is that to get AI right, we must first get data right, and that begins by establishing a robust and trusted data foundation. And I believe Qlik Talend Cloud can truly help you. Consequently, if you want to try any of these new data integration and quality features, then don’t hesitate to reach out to us, or contact your Qlik partner.
