Being a Leader Never Gets Old: Qlik is named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence

As I reflect (although a better word would maybe recover) on the incredible experience at Qlik Connect in sunny Orlando, I am filled with excitement and pride.

This year’s event was particularly special because it was our first opportunity to showcase the expanded Qlik portfolio, including our robust data foundation, Qlik Talend Cloud, and Qlik Answers, our all-new knowledge assistant that delivers personalized, relevant answers to questions generated from a variety of unstructured data sources.

This, paired with new partnership announcements with AWS and the United Nations, truly speaks out our capabilities in the space. You can read more about these exciting developments in our June 4th blog post. Combined with our advances in data science integration and pioneering efforts in LLM integration, Qlik now offers an AI-infused data-to-decision workflow that is incredibly powerful for enterprise developers and analysts.

Orlando is known for its magic – from its basketball team to Disney’s Magic Kingdom (who are also a Qlik customer BTW) - and was a fitting lead-up to our celebrating another kind of magic: Qlik has been recognized as a Leader in the 2024 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Following our positioning as a Leader in the 2023 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration, it is gratifying to be named a Leader in Analytics and Business Intelligence as well. In fact, this marks the 14th time we’ve been recognized. You can access and download the report here. We believe this recognition is a tremendously significant validation of our relentless commitment to innovation, excellence, and driving business outcomes for our customers.

12 Months of Innovation

In the past 12 months, we have made some significant moves, including the completion of our acquisition of Talend and we are now one of the top five companies by revenue in both ABI platforms and data integration tools. This achievement underscores our strong market presence and growth.

In my opinion, one of the standout features of Qlik, frequently highlighted by our customers, is its unparalleled flexibility. Whether you're using AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or even Alibaba Cloud, Qlik works seamlessly across all major cloud platforms. Additionally, our integration with a wide range of enterprise cloud applications makes Qlik an ideal choice for organizations with multi-cloud setups and diverse enterprise applications. This flexibility is particularly valuable, as evidenced by the 2022 Gartner State of Data and Analytics Cloud Adoption survey, where 85% of surveyed organizations cited multi-cloud as their preferred environment. This independence is of utmost importance to our clients.

In Conclusion

Being recognized as a Leader in both Gartner Magic Quadrants for Data Integration and Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms is in our opinion, a testament to the strength and breadth of our capabilities.
