Sam Pierson

As the Senior Vice President of the Data Business Unit R&D Organization at Qlik, Sam is responsible for scaling the Data Business Unit’s engineering organization to drive innovation and continued market growth. Previously he served as CTO of Talend.

Sam is an experienced technology leader with a highly technical engineering and computer science background. Prior to Talend, Sam was SVP of Engineering at Illuminate Education, a SaaS education-technology company. He was also a technology executive at Sansoro Health, where he spearheaded significant cloud migration efforts.

Sam holds both a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
